The Sunshine Coast’s picturesque beaches and hinterland regions have become much more accessible for disabled visitors thanks to WheelAdventures.
Specialising in customised rides and tours for chair-bound and mobility-challenged people, the new tours allow visitors to experience the Sunshine Coast in a motorcycle sidecar especially designed for wheelchairs. WheelAdventures operates across the Sunshine Coast and tours include the hinterland, Glass House Mountains, and coastal beaches, or you can make up your own itinerary. Pricing ranges from $120 an hour up to a full day at $650 and includes free pick up and drop off to most areas and the option of a carer or friend travelling for free.
