Two luxury holiday apartments on Magnetic Island off Townsville have been awarded official five-star status.
The two “Bright Point Deluxe” units are the first accommodation on the island to ever receive a five-star rating. AAA Tourism, Australia’s official ratings agency, is responsible for the rating which is achieved through points amassed by a combination of the location and views, sizes of the apartments’ rooms and beds, interior décor, quality of fittings and appliances, range of guests’ appointments and standards of cleaning and maintenance. Additional points were given for providing guests with exclusive use of a car and limousine transfers within the tariff.
