New Wildnight Adventure buffet

The Gold Coast’s Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is offering guests a chance to enjoy delicious Australian cuisine before joining a Wildnight Adventure tour.

The ‘Wild Buffet’ is served at the Sanctuary Café from 5.30pm offering a delicious choice of hot dishes, salads and desserts which reflect the Australian experience. The Wild Buffet overlooks the sanctuary’s arena precinct which allows visitors to enjoy natural surroundings, wildlife appearances and photo opportunities as they prepare to ‘walk on the wild side’. The guided walking tour starts at 7pm in groups of up to 20 people and takes in the Koala and Wombat enclosures and visits Holey, one of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in captivity. Guests then hand-feed the kangaroos and visit the Tasmanian Devils brought to the Sanctuary as part of the recovery program. The evening ends with an Aboriginal dance show in a clearing of Mellaleuca trees. www.cws.org.au
