Whale watching gears up for another busy season

The Queensland whale watching season has begun as the first of thousands of humpback whales have been spotted passing the coast on their annual migration north from the Antarctic.

Whale watching cruises are now operating out of the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and the Hervey Bay season will begin on August 1 when the animals call in for some R&R before returning to the southern waters. www.queenslandholidays.com.au
