Lone Pine Keeper for the day

If you’ve ever wanted to experience a day in the life of an animal keeper, look no further than Brisbane’s Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

www.koala.net Lone Pine’s One Day Keeper Experience Program is available to visitors who are interested in acquiring hands-on training and knowledge of the animals from keepers at the iconic animal sanctuary. Participants choose to work with one of four different kinds of animals – birds, macropods and mammals, koalas or farmyard animals. As well as the training, participants also receive a Lone Pine polo-shirt, training certificate, gift pack (koala photo in a folder, postcards, stickers, calendar, A3 big picture, guide book) and lunch. Applicants must be aged 18 years and over and be able to understand basic conversational English. Lone Pine is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary where you can cuddle a koala, hand feed kangaroos and get up close to Aussie wildlife in a beautiful bushland setting.
