The Janbal Gallery is a new, fully Aboriginal-owned and operated art gallery located in the Tropical North Queensland town of Mossman.
Artist-in-residence and co-owner Brian Swindley (Binna) is passionate about sharing his culture and Dreamtime stories with visitors to the gallery. A member of the local Kuku Yalanji tribe, Binna, who is deaf, also conducts Aboriginal art lessons by arrangement.
