Taste BIGHEAD, Australia’s first no-carb beer at the Burleigh Brewing Company on the Gold Coast.
Burleigh Brewing Company is a Queensland boutique brewery that has been producing beers from its Burleigh Heads base since 2007. BIGHEAD is the brainchild of husband and wife team Brennan and Peta Fielding, who created a full-flavoured, full-strength lager that is 100 percent natural, free of additives and preservatives, with zero carbohydrates and only 88 calories per bottle. The Burleigh Brewing Company’s other beers include a highly popular ‘Duke’ Range and the limited release Burleigh Hefeweizen. Tours of the brewery are held on the first Saturday every month and give visitors an up-close encounter with the brewing equipment, the chance to climb the steps to the brewer's platform and peer inside the tanks, 45 minutes with a brew master to hear all kinds of fascinating insights into beer and brewing, and a glass of each of the three ‘Duke’ beers. www.burleighbrewing.com
