The latest addition to the flourishing Sunshine Coast Hinterland wine industry is Flame Hill Vineyard and Cellar Door.
The winery, which will produce verdelho, shiraz, cabernet and chardonnay wines from grapes grown on the site, is located on an established winery, formerly the home of the Settler’s Rise wine label which has moved to another location in the region. Positioned 420 metres above sea level, Flame Hill Vineyard and Cellar Door rests at one of the highest points in Montville. Breathtaking ocean and mountain views from the deck and outdoor podium create a memorable and relaxing setting to sample and savour Flame Hill’s unique range of Queensland wine. The new owners chose the winery’s name because of the rich red volcanic soil and Flame Trees growing on the property.
